Yes, I know this website’s been quiet, but at this time of year, life ‘On The Plots’ does slow down, and what with the Christmas and New Year celebrations, we haven’t spent much time down on The Plots.

Also, we had a terrifically cold snap in mid December with several inches of snow and ice, and if there’s snow on the ground, there’s not a Big Lot you can do.  However, Diane has been terrifically busy in the background organising chutney-making sessions, liasing with schools and local groups and doing all the stuff that had it not been done would have left us stuck!  A BIG ‘Thankyou!’ to her. continue reading…

Chutney Workshop

Following the recipe

We had our first “Chutney Workshop” at Mount Tabor yesterday evening – we had a good time together and made some great smelling and tasting chutneys!
Hopefully in the new year we’ll arrange further workshops and try out more recipes – meanwhile have a happy Christmas.
